Swim. Sleep. Eat. Repeat. The End.
Just kidding… although that does sum up the week we’ve had.
We lounged around La Azohia on Monday, enjoying the warm mediterranean waters and views of the village from Torre de Santa Elena, a little tower located at the end of the beach. We woke up early the next day, said goodbye to our little slice of heaven and set off to Seville.
Seville was beautiful, with a winding old town and enough squares, plazas and castles to keep you occupied for a while. We parked overnight in an Aire of sort (looked more like a second hand car dealership warehouse), which had clean toilets and showers for €12 a night.

We considered spending another day in Seville but the prospect of spending the night in Portugal at the beach was just too good to pass up.
We thought you couldn’t get much better than Spain, but then we crossed the border. Portugal feels like Spain’s prettier and richer next door neighbour.
Majority of this week was spent beach hopping along the Algarve Coast – truly spectacular and something everyone must experience at some point in their life. We started at Praia de Arrifes and didn’t stop until we got to Lagos. Discovering hidden caves and beaches by foot or swimming in the (incredibly) brisk Atlantic filled our days.
Overnight parking in the beach carparks was completely free except for Lagos, which was €3 so we had an extremely cheap week with accommodation (€15 all up!).

From Lagos we started the long trek north, to start Week Eight fresh in Lisboa.
Until then. Tchau x
